Rochon was raised in Torrance, Los Angeles suburb of Torrance she is her parents being Zelma, a nurse practitioner as well as Samuel Staples, a business owner and graphic artist. Cerritos High School in Cerritos California is the place where Rochon graduated from high school in the year 1982. Heather is the creator and host of the digital travel show Drive Yourself Local where she gives local tales of living in rural towns, while touring America using her classic 1965 Ford Mustang. Ullerup played Julia Brynn in the 2006 remake of Battlestar Galactica, which was broadcast by Sci Fi Channel. In the first two seasons on Sanctuary the actress was Ashley Magnus until the character was removed. People were angry over her departure, and many were hoping to see her come back for future shows. It ended 2012 but not without a heated discussion. In 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was chosen to play Maggie Thomas, Michael Thomas the estranged wife, for Asteroid: Final Impact (2005). Ullerup regularly appears in the role of Dale Travers, in the Hallmark Signed, Sealed, Delivered film series since 2016.
