The Poarch family explained to her that she was a chore-maker at the family farm owned by the Taylor family for the first 10 years. Poarch is the elder of two older sisters who were adopted and also has a brother who is older than her Bryner. She moved with her family in Texas, United States when she was thirteen years old. The two siblings remain within the Phillipines. Then, Poarch served in the United States Navy for many years, and later was stationed in Japan. Bella claimed that her dad was abusive and she and her brother didn't know anybody in the school.
